Pierre A. Asselin, Senior Vice-President, Strategic Development
For thirty years, Pierre Asselin has worked in the manufacturing industry as a management and business financing consultant. He has also led special reorganization mandates for manufacturing multiple head offices and service companies.
Asselin joined Kolossal Security in 2006 as Senior Vice-President, Strategic Development. His mandate is to position and develop the company’s technology sectors in order to ensure growth in the medium to long-term.
Robert Lanthier, Vice-President – Development Airport Business Line
Robert Lanthier served as a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) for over thirty years in various positions, particularly in criminal investigations. He subsequently held several senior management positions in operations and administration. He ended his career as Director General of Ministerial Security. Subsequently, he joined the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission and held the position of Director of the Nuclear Security Division.
In March 2010, he joined the Kolossal team as Vice-President, Airport Business Development. His role consists of developing the airport security sector.
Johanne Renaud, Airport Operations Director
Johanne Renaud joined Kolossal in 2002 as a Control Agent at Quebec City Airport. Over the years, she acquired operational training and management experience in airport security. She climbed the ladder to Checkpoint Manager, Point of Service Manager and Senior Manager, and then was promoted in 2009 to Senior Director, Quebec Airport Operations, responsible for management of passenger security operations in eight airports in Quebec. In this crucial role for national and passenger security at the eight airports served by Security Kolossal inc, she is responsible for applying the operational procedures of the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority.
Myrian Brady, Vice-President, Quebec Security Operations
Myrian Brady joined Kolossal in 1994 as a dispatcher and office assistant. In 1999, she worked for the Youth Centres of the Montérégie region. In 2002, she became chief dispatcher and in 2004, she was appointed security consultant. In 2006, she was named Director of Security Operations. Today, she is Vice-President of Security Operations and is responsible for managing 68,500 hours of security work per week.
Denis Gagnon, Senior director of operations Montréal
Denis Gagnon began his career in 1993 at the heart of Kolossal as chief dispatcher. He then spent six years working for the Youth Centers of the Montéregie region, principally in relation to the implementation of a transport service for the region. In November of 2009, he returned to Kolossal as the principal director of Operations in the Montréal region. His significant experience in operational planning matters allows us to ensure an unparalleled level of customer service.
Pierre Veilleux, Senior Director of Operations Québec
Pierre Veilleux had a thirty-six-year career in the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. He mainly worked in criminal investigations, holding management positions in operations and administration of these investigation units. He also performed special mandates during major security events in Canada, such as the Summit of the Americas in 2001, the North American Leaders’ Summit in 2007 and the Francophonie Summit in 2008, developing exceptional security measures and supervising the planning teams for these events.
He joined the Kolossal team in October 2010 as Senior Director of Operations for the Quebec City sector and the Chicoutimi, Baie-Comeau and Sept-Îles regions.
Marc Lemieux, Operations Director
Marc Lemieux has worked in the security field in Quebec for the past ten years. He began by working on night patrol, investigations, infiltration, tailing and special events. For the past three years, he has taught security agent training at the Commission scolaire de la Capitale.
He joined the Kolossal team in 2007 as Chief Patroller. In 2008, he was promoted to Assignment Coordinator. Since July 2010, he has held the position of Director of Operations in the Quebec City sector.
Patrick Nadon, Director Resource Protection
Patrick Nadon has worked in the security field since 1994. He started as an Agent at Centre hospitalier Baie-des-Chaleurs. From 1998 to 2001, he was an Agent, Patroller and Team Leader at the Université du Québec à Montréal. From 2001 to 2004, he served as Assistant Director and Director of Operations. Mr. Nadon joined Sécurité Kolossal inc. in 2004 as Director, Resource Protection. He is responsible for the Tactical (Labour Conflict) Division. He also participates in the development of the Security Guard and Special Events (B.E.S.T) sectors.
Normand Lavictoire, Vice-President, Special Services
For the past ten years, Normand Lavictoire has worked in private security for a variety of events. He was Director of Operations and Development for the Alpha Agency for six years. In April 1995, he joined the Regional Security Agency and founded BEST’s special services, where he served as Director of Operations, as well as serving as a consultant. In 2006, Kolossal acquired BEST. Normand Lavictoire was then appointed Vice-President of Special Services.
Carl Lacroix, Director of Special Service Operations
After studying at the Collège national de sécurité and working in personal security for numerous clients, Carl Lacroix joined the BEST team in 1996. After several years as Acting Special Services Supervisor, he was appointed Assistant Director of Special Services Operations. In 2006, he was promoted to Director of Special Services Operations. His mission is to elaborate the security action plans of the different sites covered by our mandates, as well as to manage our security teams, plan special events and ensure service quality.
Gaétan Lavoie, Director of Human Resources
With diplomas from the University of Montréal in Industrial Relations, Gaétan Lavoie served as an intern at Hydro-Québec and worked for the Union des Artistes. In October 2005, he joined Kolossal Security as a health and safety consultant. That same year, Lavoie was appointed as a labour relations consultant. In 2009, he was named Director of Human Resources, during which he developed several innovative programs with regards to recruiting, training, manager coaching, grief management and quality control. A member of the Ordre des conseillers et des conseillères en relations industrielles agréés du Québec, Lavoie oversees the hiring of over a thousand people each year.
Benoît Beaulieu, Sales Manager
Benoît Beaulieu has over fifteen years of experience in strategic market and security planning, as well as experience in personal security contract management. Since 2001, he is the Acting Director of Sales for Kolossal Security and its BEST Division, where he is responsible for several major accounts. Prior to this position, he worked as a security agent. In addition to his marketing and communication expertise, he has excellent first-hand knowledge of the security business.
